Call for Volunteers

NAIHC is seeking volunteers for their annual convention, which is co-hosted with AMERIND Risk Management. This event brings together housing professionals and vendors working on housing in tribal and native communities.

Come help us make the event a success! 

The National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) is the only national organization representing housing interests of Native people who reside in Indian communities, Alaska Native Villages, and on native Hawaiian Home Lands. The NAIHC is composed of 271 members representing 463 tribes and housing organizations..

AMERIND Risk is the only 100% Tribally owned insurance solutions provider in Indian Country. Over 400 Tribes united and pooled their resources to create AMERIND Risk to keep money within Indian Country.

Most volunteer shifts are four hours long.  We are seeking volunteers for a range of duties and times.  We appreciate your interest in our event and we enjoy working closely with volunteers from the local community!

Take a look at the some of the volunteer descriptions below.
Shifts run from Saturday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 11.
Ushers:   Help attendees and direct flow of people. Take luau tickets at door
Bag Stuffing: Help on the assembly line as we place goodies in the conference attendee bags.
Golf Tournament:  General volunteers at Olomana Golf Course
Session Monitor concurrent sessions:  act as runner for speaker, hand out evaluations, collect evaluations.
General support staff:  assist with registration as needed, relay messages as requested, provide staffing presence in office,                           assist with other duties as needed: copying, etc.
